How to price used sneakers for resale
A pair of sneakers with tags often sells for twice what a worn pair does. On Poshmark, a new-with-tags Air Jordan 1 Low typically sells for about $120 against about $50 used, and a Nike Air Force 1 for about $78 against about $33. Here's what used pairs from 10 popular brands sell for, and what moves the price.

Tags and wear
Whether a pair still has its tags changes the price a lot. In 4 of the 10 brands above, new with tags typically sells for about twice the used price or more:
- Vans Old Skool: about $69 new with tags, about $26 used.
- Hoka Speedgoat: about $114 new with tags, about $51 used.
- Golden Goose Hi Star: about $562 new with tags, about $200 used.
Converse has the smallest gap of the 10, about 30%. If your pair is worn, price it against used sales, not the overall number, which mixes in pairs with tags. Every item page splits its sales by condition.
Your size
The typical price mixes every size. To compare with pairs like yours, add the size to the search, like nike dunk low 10: a number in the search keeps only sales in that size (or with that number in the title). In Google Sheets, =SOLDPRICE("nike dunk low", 10) does the same, and the API has a size filter.
Kids' sizes (toddler, youth, GS, sizes like 4T or 10C) are removed from every result unless you search for them, so a toddler pair won't drag an adult price down.
How fast they sell
Some pairs sell in a day or two. The Salomon XT-6 typically sells in 0.7 days and the Hoka Bondi in 1.1 days. Others sit: the Nike Air Max 95 took a median of 69.2 days and the Nike Dunk Low 36.8 days.
A pair that sells in days can be listed at the typical price. One that sits for a month needs a lower price or patience. The model matters too: within Salomon, the XT-6 typically sells for $130 and the XA Pro 3D for $55.
Replicas
Listings labeled as replicas, reps, dupes or similar are removed before any number is worked out, and a fake priced far below the real thing usually gets trimmed as a price outlier. A fake that isn't labeled and is priced like the real thing stays in. Nobody inspects the pairs.
