How to price designer bags by condition
With bags, the model matters more than the logo. On Poshmark a Coach Tabby 26 typically sells for $245, while a Coach tote goes for $68. Condition moves it too: a new-with-tags Coach Willow typically sells for about $223, against about $128 used.

Ranges cover the bag-category items we track, which include wallets and wristlets for some brands. Gucci and Tory Burch are bags only (we also track Gucci loafers and Tory Burch sandals), and Tory Burch's new-with-tags figure covers the sandals too. Burberry is left out: the only Burberry bag-category item we track is a wallet. The model, not just the brand
Within Coach alone, typical sold prices run from $68 for a Coach tote to $245 for a Coach Tabby 26, and the Coach Pillow Tabby sells for $125, about half the Tabby 26. Louis Vuitton runs from $287.50 for a wallet to $1,018 for an Alma. A brand's average tells you little about your bag.
Size and version matter too. In one Louis Vuitton Alma search on Oct 7, 2026, the Alma BB sold for $775 to $900 and the Alma PM for $1,018 to $1,200. Search the exact model and size, like coach tabby 26. More in how accurate is this?
Condition
For most of these brands, a bag with tags sells well above a used one. A new-with-tags Longchamp Roseau typically sells for about $360, against about $149 used. A Dooney & Bourke Satchel: about $175 against about $85. A Kate Spade Tote: about $90 against about $35.
Louis Vuitton is the exception. On only a few new-with-tags sales, a Neverfull with tags sold for about $950, against about $1,075 used. Price a used bag against used sales, not the overall number. Every item page splits its sales by condition.
Authentication
Nobody at SoldStack inspects these bags. Listings labeled as replicas, dupes or similar are removed, and a fake priced far below the real thing usually gets trimmed as a price outlier, but a fake that isn't labeled and is priced like the real thing stays in. The numbers assume a real bag.
Low sales can be a warning sign. In the same Alma search, two kept sales at $378 and $380 didn't name a size, and nothing in the data says whether they were smaller, worn or not authentic. If you can't show your bag is authentic, don't count on the typical price.
Days to sell
Popular bags move fast. The Coach Brooklyn typically sells in 1.9 days and the Coach Tabby 26 in 2.1. Others take longer: the Dooney & Bourke Crossbody 8.2 days and the Louis Vuitton Alma 7.8.
A bag that sells in two days can be listed at the typical price. A slower model needs a lower price or patience.
